YMLA’s storytime group created some colorful bugs to contribute to the Eric Carle Museum’s Colorful Bugs Public Art Project. The museum sent over some great pictures of the bugs hanging in the webs in the Carle’s Orchard! The bugs will be on view outside at the museum through August 30th, 2015.

Local Author Tim Parker will be at the library to read from and sign his new book “Wispa” on Monday, May 18th from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
“Wispa” is set in and around the Quabbin Reservoir. Below is a description of the story:
“A driven Wall Street executive returns to her alma mater for a college reunion in the picturesque Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts. Constant devotion to her employer at the cost of having a life of her own had taken its toll. Pam felt she needed a few days away for a change of pace.
Being accustomed to fending for herself, falling in love was the furthest thing from her mind. Striking up a casual conversation with Jake over a cup of coffee at an old haunt becomes the start of a long adventure that turns her world upside down.”
